How did you spend your student loan? For most people it went on rent, course materials and maybe the odd night out.

But Samuel Leach spent his student years squirreled away in his bedroom, learning the ins and outs of the stock market.

While others are still counting the cost of their student debt, Mr Leach, now 28, had made more than a million pounds on the markets by the age of 25. He now runs his own currency trading business.
